As the primary usage of the platform changes, so must the design aesthetic behind it. Snap’s new logo consists of easy to recognize shapes playing together to form a personable, descriptive, and minimalistic character.

Be expressive.


The new Snap logo was designed to be a reflection of the life of the company. You. Inspired by the expressive nature of everyday objects (primarily sci-fi robots), the logo becomes a centre of expression for the user. Relying on a line and two circles, you can express your excitement, shock, anger, or happiness.

Being a digital company, the new logo must be bold enough to be properly displayed on the small screens we carry with us throughout the day, but also must be bold enough to stand on its own; be it advertising, or on branded merchandise.
